The channel, the city and the projects in progress.

About Indus

Most people who know the work know me simply as Indus. I'm Bjorn, a creator with a long-running interest in transport, infrastructure, filmmaking, technology and building things because I want to see them exist.

Indus has followed me through all of it. What started as a name for small film projects with friends eventually became my editing work, a YouTube channel, a community, and now a much broader collection of projects under one name.

Where Indus came from

The name started with Indus Film Productions, something a group of friends and I created when we were younger and experimenting with promos, filming and creative work.

That later became Indus Video Editing, the name I used for freelance editing, before the public side of the brand became Indus Gaming.

Gaming ended up being the version most people saw, but it was never the whole picture. I'm gradually bringing those different branches back together under one name, Indus.

Built around movement

Transport has always sat in the background of the work. I flew a glider solo at 14, started working at an airport at 17, and worked as a turnaround coordinator at 18.

Late that year I left higher education and corporate work, moved to Thailand, and gave myself a proper chance to build a life around creative work instead.

Aviation, transport and infrastructure still show up everywhere, from Indus Metropolis to flight simulation, RC flying and the tools I build around them.

  • 1K+Early YouTube videos started breaking through a thousand views.
  • 1M+A short-form clip passed one million views on TikTok.
  • CommunityThe part I value most is the Discord community that grew around the work.

Right now

Most of my day-to-day work currently happens behind the scenes, creating video and social content for crypto projects under private client arrangements.

On the public Indus side, I'm focused on the website, the Discord Rewards programme, and the infrastructure around the community.

I'm also building tools and experiments around flight simulation and RC aviation, including Cruise Control and Aviron.

The project people keep asking about

Indus Metropolis is still the project people ask for most, and I do want to return to it.

For now, I'm using the quieter period to get the surrounding systems into better shape: the website, the Rewards programme, the Discord community and the tools around it.

When the series comes back, I want there to be more behind it than another YouTube upload.

What comes next

The idea now is to give all of this one home.

Indus Metropolis, flight sim, real-world aviation, RC flying, tools, films and whatever else grows into a proper project can all sit under the same name.

The YouTube side will broaden with it, with more Metropolis, flight sim and real-life content sharing the same space.

Indus does not need to fit into one category anymore.
